Founded in 2014 by Dr. Ann Monis, Mental Health Center of Florida (MHC) provides clients with affordable state-of-the-art mental health treatment services, while addressing the ever-changing holistic needs of today’s individuals and families. With offices in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Fort Meyers, Sarasota, Upper Keys, we have contracted clinicians in almost every county in the State of Florida … and coming soon will be offices in Georgia and Texas. Our staff of fully credentialed therapists offer comprehensive psychological care for a broad spectrum of mental health issues/disorders and are are multilingual (English, Spanish, Hebrew, Russian and Hindi). Therapists are Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, or License Eligible Therapists completing hours toward Florida licensure — experienced in the fields of children and adolescents, cognitive impairment, geriatrics, forensics and the chronically mentally ill.
In South Florida, the MHC Florida clinical team is Broward Sheriff’s Office Certified to provide services throughout Broward County’s jails. We work extensively with ChildNet® (including being a contracted provider for human trafficking cases), Department of Children and Families and various child welfare social services agencies, helping children and families in crisis.
